Gran Cardone doesn’t hold back, and to me… I felt a bit lost with finding someone to model after until I found this guy.
His words and attitude remind me of why I became a Bering Sea Crab Fisherman eight years ago… I’ve since walked away, but no excuses, responsibility, and balls to the walls work ethic are the keys to success in my opinion.

1. Success loves preparation, and the only ones who are hurt in financial contractions and hard economic times are the ones who are not prepared.
2. If you are not prepared, life will discipline you – everyone’s been through the broke stage be ready for everything that comes your way.
3. People die from negativity every day, start getting enthusiastic about your business. The Negativity kills people it just takes 80 years usually.
4. The media is the number one dominating force on planet earth and is completely disgusting. If you want success get rid of the news, or better yet make it. Because there are 800 television channels that puke negativity on you and the rest of the world.
5. Stop reading books so much and write them, everyone including you should write a book. We all have something that should be shared with the world. Writing a book will also make you a authority and give you the clout needed to succeed.
6. When times are hardest it’s the biggest opportunity, while everyone else is in contraction it’s the best time for you to expand.
7. If you know what day it is you’re not busy enough. Success is going to take you doing everything for it, eat, sleep, and breathe success.
8. God created the Universe in six days and took a break, most people take Saturdays and Sundays off and they didn’t create anything. Rest is overrated, start working harder.
9. Dominate the Game, forget about competition, and aim to dominate your sector.
10. Opportunities are everywhere and you’re missing them, start seeing the bigger picture.
11. Uncertainty is the biggest problem; if you’re uncertain I’m uncertain and will never buy with you.
12. Everybody should be blogging – Everybody should be using social media, use these free methods of distribution to get out of obscurity.
13. Start thinking big like a child again, when you were a kid everything was possible. Start thinking like that again.
14. Society says your goals are unrealistic you need to drop your goals and add forty years, this is garbage. This is what people are taught. The reality is that you need to be honest about what it takes to achieve a goal. And before that you have to think 10 times as big and take 10 times as much action.
15. Success is fulfilling your potential; it’s also your duty, your responsibility, and your obligation to society.
16. Get certain, your product is your life, get sold on or you can’t sell it to anyone else.
17. Get out of obscurity, you need to get known, get people paying attention to you.
18. Practice enthusiasm, one again you have to love your product or service.
19. Most people will work more than anything in their life without success, get a mindset shift and change this.
20. Work is good; work will get you out of every bad situation and overcome all negative situations.
21. Don’t lower your standards, be totally committed to your success and do whatever it takes. Get committed to having everything.
22. Get involved in your business or you will be disciplined again and it will be painful, life is not afraid to give you pain every time you ask for it.
